Can you homeschool and make money from home? Absolutely. When the internet became prevalent over 10 years ago, it opened a door wide open for people to bring in a significant income from home. If you want to homeschool and make money from home, there is not better time. With a few precautions, based on my 2 years of making no money online, you can quickly be on your way to a more financially secure future.
I am into my third year of internet marketing, and I must say, my first 2 years were a complete flop. I spent hours online trying to learn as much as I could. I followed the Guru’s advice and had no success. Of course, now I know the reason why. I never wanted to spend much money to be coached and so I had to learn everything myself. While many people said it was possible, I was so ignorant, I didn’t know what I didn’t know.
As a homeschool mom of 5 kids, with another on the way, I really wanted something I could do on my computer. When I was done working, I wanted to be able to shut my laptop and walk away. No accounting, no inventory, no packaging, etc..
Some of the things I tried:
- Paid Surveys
- Ebay Products
- Writing – Freelance Jobs
- Mystery Shopping
- Virtual Assistants
- Reading Ads
- Stuffing Envelopes
- Creating/Selling Personal Products
None of these worked for me. I will admit that I made some money with them, but it was either so little for the amount of work I put in or I was spending more money than I made.
Why am I Writing This Article?
After 2 years, I finally found a way to homeschool and make money online. It was through selling products. The important thing to know is that it doesn’t matter what the product is, everyone is shopping for something. The important thing is how you sell it.
How People Buy Online.
Most people do one of two things when they are going to make a purchase online. They either go directly to the website and purchase the exact product they are looking for, or they do a search on a search enginge, such as Google. This is where you have the chance to sell your product. Most people only look at the first page of Google, so that is where you need to be, in the top 10. Now, while this may sound impossible, it is actually very “do-able”. It takes some market strategy, almost like playing a game. It is called article marketing.
Why share this information?
I know, as a homeschool mom, that making money isn’t just for fun. For many of us it is a necessity. In my first month with article marketing, I made about $250. Now that may not sound like a lot, because I worked hard that first month, but from there things started to skyrocket. They can for you, too. That is my motivation, to let everyone know that you can homeschool and make money, too, without sacrificing your family.
